MeowCat is a new kind of internet conversation platform.
MeowCat is a better Twitter; you can write long messages (no 140 character limit) and embed images in your messages. Like Twitter, it uses hash tags; you can view popular tags.
MeowCat is a better blogging platform. As well as seeing a list of your recent posts (as you can with an ordinary blog), with MeowCat you can view a list of your comments on other people's blogs.
MeowCat is Usenet for the 21st century. Its markup includes italic, bold, and monospaced text. Its nested quotes are an improvement over the practise of using “>” characters for quoting.
MeowCat is a better bulletin board system. Bulletin boards organise posts by subject; you can do this in MeowCat, of course, but you can also view the same data by poster, or can follow particular people.

Or, you can browse recent messages or read the official project blog.
